About Me
Tyler G. Lynch is a Los Angeles-based writer-director whose work blends character-driven drama and nostalgia with psychological undertones. Originally from outside Philadelphia, she studied creative writing at Sarah Lawrence College before earning her MFA in Screenwriting from UCLA, where she received the John H. & Patricia W. Mitchell Scholarship. Tyler was a Finalist in the 2024 Essence Film Festival Screenwriting Competition and previously sold a feature to a former BET executive. Drawing from her background in theater and dance, she creates visually grounded stories centered on ambition, grief, and reinvention, often exploring the tension between vulnerability and power.
